Cause: Borrowing is not enabled by default in R1 releases.
Solution: Add to ansyslmd.opt: BORROW 720 (borrow time in hours). Clients must set environment variable ANSYSLMD_BORROW=1.

Unlike older versions (pre-2020R1) that used lmtools, 2023R1 relies on the Ansys Licensing Service.

If you meant “solid content” as in 3D solid modeling licenses (e.g., SpaceClaim, DesignModeler) — those are features inside the license file, not separate files. Use:
lmstat -f spaceclaim
