The ElAmigos release strips out some redundant console telemetry, giving you a 5-8% FPS boost over the Steam/GOG versions. To maximize this:
A common complaint with official updates is that they force a re-download of 10GB of localization files. ElAmigos isolates voice lines (English, French, Japanese, etc.) into a separate _Voice archive. Their update 2.0→2.1 patch skips voice files entirely unless a hash fails.
The ElAmigos team does not offer downgraders. You must keep a separate backup of your Cyberpunk 2077 folder at 2.00. This is why many "top" guides suggest a portable installation (copying the game folder to a secondary SSD before updating).
