Warning: Spoilers for Chapter 115 below. the story follows Akira Kamishiro
Chapter 115, titled "The Final Stroke," picked up immediately after the cliffhanger of Chapter 114, where our protagonist, Amano Riku (a prodigal manga creator turned isekai hero), faced a corrupted divine beast that had absorbed the life force of an entire elven village.
Unlike previous battles where Riku relied on quick, offensive sketches (summoning blades, shields, or elemental creatures), Chapter 115 showcased his true mastery: Narrative Sequencing. Riku realized that brute force wouldn’t work against a beast that fed on negative emotions. Instead, he used his Oekaki Skill to draw a four-panel manga (yonkoma) in mid-air.
The chapter ended with Riku collapsing from mana exhaustion but clutching a new "Ink Core"—a rare material that can upgrade his drawing tablet (his grimoire). Meanwhile, a shadowy figure observers from a rift, muttering, "He’s not just drawing weapons… he’s rewriting fate. That’s too dangerous."
Nagi has been saving a two-page spread for a true emergency. Chapter 116 could be almost entirely silent, showing Nagi frantically drawing a massive panel depicting an alternate reality where the curse never existed. The final page would then “overwrite” reality. This would be visually stunning but narratively risky—cheapening consequences.
