Fallout 4 Aaf Keybinds

Editing keybinds is not done in Fallout 4’s vanilla controls menu. You must manually edit an INI file.

If you’ve followed this guide and AAF still ignores your inputs, run through this checklist:

    Open the AAF_Config.xml file with a text editor (such as Notepad++). The user must locate the <KeyBinds> section. The syntax generally follows this structure:

    To change a key, the user must know the Direct Input Scan Code for their desired key. For example, standard keyboard keys use different codes than numpad keys.

    Never press a key twice quickly.

    The script lag in Fallout 4 is real. If you hit "Enter" twice, the framework will try to start two scenes at once, freezing your game. Tap once. Wait two seconds. If nothing happens, tap again.
