Filedot Ams

FileDot AMS includes a "Disk Scanner" tool that analyzes your existing file servers (Windows, Linux, or NAS). It identifies duplicate files, orphaned data, and obsolete file types. This allows you to clean up your data before migration, saving cloud storage costs.

We implemented a prototype of FileDot AMS in Python (3.10+) with watchdog for event handling and scikit-learn for optional content classification (TF-IDF + naive Bayes). The system was tested on three user profiles over 30 days: filedot ams
