Fsx Fsxse Aerosoft Airbus Bundle V131 -

Version 1.31 for FSX:SE is a farewell letter – a polished, stable, and deeply functional Airbus that respects the limitations of its host platform. It doesn’t try to be a $140 study sim, nor does it pretend to have FBW physics akin to real Level D. Instead, it offers consistent satisfaction: every button you expect works, every procedure you follow succeeds.

For many, that's enough.

Blue skies, tailwinds, and happy flying in your bus.
– A simmer since FS2002

The Aerosoft Airbus Bundle v1.31 for FSX and FSX: Steam Edition (FSX:SE) is the final stable version of Aerosoft's 32-bit Airbus series before development shifted to the "Professional" 64-bit versions. Released around late 2015, this version focused on stability, bug fixes, and broadening compatibility. Version 1.31 Key Changes

This update served primarily as a "cleanup" release to ensure the aircraft functioned correctly on modern operating systems and newer simulator versions:

System Fixes: Addressed the "Windows 10 font issue" and fixed flickering on the Navigation Display (ND).

Checklist & MCDU: Improved the automated checklist logic, particularly for LOC approaches, and added the ability to save modified passenger weights in the MCDU.

Modeling Updates: Fixed animation errors with the VSpeed knob and missing textures in the A321 virtual cockpit. fsx fsxse aerosoft airbus bundle v131

Compatibility: Introduced official support for Prepar3D v3 (including an avatar feature for P3D users) while maintaining full support for FSX: Steam Edition. Bundle Overview The bundle includes the A318/A319 and A320/A321 packages.

Standard Features: Custom Fly-by-Wire (FbW) with envelope protection, a semi-automated "Co-pilot" checklist system, and an integrated weather radar that requires no external add-ons.

Interactive MCDU: Includes a web-based MCDU that can be operated via a tablet or phone through a local network.

Liveries: Comes with dozens of high-quality liveries for both CFM and IAE engine variants. Review Summary FSX Steam Edition: Airbus A320/A321 Add-On

If you have v1.31, there is no newer version for FSX/FSX:SE – Aerosoft stopped at v1.31.
Later “Professional” versions (v1.4+) are only for Prepar3D.

So v1.31 is the final FSX-compatible release. Version 1

Even at v1.31, a few quirks remain:

| Issue | Workaround | |-------|-------------| | MCDU freezes after flight plan entry | Click “FPLN” twice or toggle to “PERF” page. | | Autoland oscillates in crosswind | Disconnect AP at 200 ft AGL and land manually. | | CTD on loading liveries | Delete the shadersHLSL cache, rebuild via FSX:SE. | | Engine spool delay on TO/GA | Wait for N1 to stabilize at 50% before releasing brakes. | | A321 nose gear steering too sensitive | Reduce tiller sensitivity in aircraft.cfg (tune steering_angle). | | Flap/slat sound loops | Update to latest sound set via Aerosoft forum (post-v1.31 hotfix). |

Since Aerosoft has moved on to P3D v4/v5 and MSFS 2020 versions, the FSX bundle is no longer sold on Aerosoft’s main store.
You may find it:

Aerosoft officially no longer supports v1.31 for FSX, but community forums (AVSIM, FlightSim.com) still have threads.

v1.31 can be heavy. Here’s how to optimize:

| Setting | Recommendation | |--------|----------------| | Texture resolution | 1024x1024 (not 2048) – reduces VAS usage | | DX10 Preview | Works with the fixer, but not vanilla | | AI Traffic | Set <= 40% – too high causes VAS spikes | | Autogen | Dense (not very dense) | | Tesselation | Off (FSX doesn't use it) |

Critical: Use the Aerosoft Updater before every flight. v1.31 has a silent database for AIRAC cycles (Navigraph compatible). Without updating, your SIDs and STARs in China or South America will be from 2016. Blue skies, tailwinds, and happy flying in your bus

Sound is half the immersion. The V3.13 bundle integrates improved sound sets. The distinct "barking" of the PTU (Power Transfer Unit) during engine start is a fan favorite—it’s that growling noise you hear in row 20 on a real plane that often scares passengers. Hearing that accurately replicated in the sim adds a layer of audio grittiness that brings the metal tube to life.

Yes – but with caveats.

If you own FSX:SE and cannot run P3D or MSFS due to hardware or investment inertia, the Aerosoft Airbus Bundle v1.31 remains the best Airbus simulation available for that platform. It will teach you flows, MCDU programming, and Airbus automation philosophy.

However, do not expect:
