Glpi Registration: Key
GLPI stores registration validation data within the database, specifically in the glpi_configs table or plugin-specific tables. The keys themselves are generally not exposed to the front-end user interface once saved.
A second source of confusion is the Plugin Registration Key. In the GLPI Marketplace (introduced in GLPI 10.0), some third-party plugins require their own registration keys. glpi registration key
Why? While GLPI core is GPL, developers of niche plugins (e.g., Datacenter Infrastructure Management, advanced reporting, or SMS gateways) may charge for their work. Plugin key not accepted:
The update server allows one key per URL. If you have a development copy (e.g., dev.helpdesk.local) and a production copy (helpdesk.prod.com), they need different keys. API token authentication fails:
