To launch a game, HyperSpin needs a middleman—an executable that tells the emulator where the ROM is, which settings to use, and how to close it cleanly.

Historically, this middleman was HyperLaunch (now obsolete) and later RocketLauncher. The error "Cannot find launcher.exe" means HyperSpin is looking for that specific file in a specific spot, and it isn't there.
