If you already have official EmuELEC 4.3 running:

Do not just overwrite the system partition – it will break the kernel patch.

Because this is a patched build, you need to tell your box to prioritize the SD card over the internal eMMC.

If you see the Android logo, you missed the window. Try again.

Standard EmuELEC boots to a black screen for 2 minutes. The patched version is faster, but you must do one thing immediately.

Once you see the "EmuELEC" splash and then the "Controller configuration" screen:

This activates the custom kernel modules for the dodgy WiFi chips.
