The service works by installing a small application or configuring an existing webcam on your device. Once set up, the webcam can stream video to the ip-webcam.appspot.com server, which then allows you to access the live feed remotely through a web interface. This is particularly useful for monitoring your home, office, or any other place where you've set up the webcam.
Step 1: Install the App Go to the Google Play Store and install IP Webcam by Pavel Khlebovich. (Note: This is currently an Android-only solution; iOS users will need alternatives like Manything or Alfred.) ip-webcam.appspot
Step 2: Configure the Stream Open the app and scroll down to "Connection Options".
Step 3: Start the Server Tap the large "Start Server" button at the bottom. You’ll see a local URL appear. You can view the feed via: The service
Step 4: Enable Remote Access
Inside the app settings, find "Remote Access / DDNS". Log in with a Google account to claim a subdomain at ip-webcam.appspot.com.
