Why settle for a small fireball? This mod doubles (or triples) the blast radius of all explosives. Gas stations become nuclear bombs. It is chaotic, unrealistic, and absolutely glorious.
It is helpful to be realistic. Unlike Skyrim or Garry’s Mod, JC1 mods are almost entirely “replacement” mods. You cannot create new missions, add new islands, or change the core story. The modding tools were never officially released, so the community reverse-engineered what they could. Do not expect total conversions; expect quality-of-life miracles.
Many mod creators never uploaded to official databases. Instead, they posted showcases on YouTube. Search for "Just Cause 1 mod showcase 2024." Reputable creators always include a MediaFire or Google Drive link. Warning: Always scan these files with VirusTotal before running them.
