The original DTS-ES 6.1 track was recreated from magnetic film audio. In true high quality, the opening scene—a thunderstorm over a neon shantytown—moves through the surround channels with directional clarity. You hear the rain hitting metal roofs to your left, and the hum of a server farm to your right.

The original 16mm workprint was scanned at 4K resolution (4096 x 3112) using a Lasergraphics Director scanner. This captures every grain of the original film stock. Unlike digital noise, film grain contains the texture of the era. In high quality, you can see the hand-painted scratches on the film that Takeda deliberately added as an homage to damaged reels.
