Once you have purchased a legitimate key, activation is straightforward:
Offline activation is available for users without internet access, but requires generating a request file from a connected computer.
Virtual DJ 2021 offers a 30-day free trial of the Pro version with no key required. After 30 days, it reverts to the limited “Home” mode (basic mixing, 30-minute session limit).
If you truly cannot afford a license, use one of these instead:
Many DJ controllers from Numark, Pioneer, Hercules, and Denon include hardware unlock for Virtual DJ LE or Pro. Connect your device, and the software automatically activates full features for that controller.
This does not give you a standalone “key” but legally unlocks the software.
As of 2025, Atomix has moved toward subscription models for ongoing updates, but they still honor perpetual Infinity licenses. Virtual DJ 2021 keys remain valid for that specific version indefinitely.
If you’re considering buying a used license key from eBay or forums – don’t. Keys are non-transferable per the EULA. The seller can reclaim it anytime, leaving you with nothing.
