The LS1 platform presents a specific challenge for flash tools. During the late 90s and early 2000s, GM PCMs were becoming increasingly complex. The LS1 used a mix of flash memory and, in some cases, solder-in chips that early tuners had to physically remove to hack. ls1 flash tool
