  • Open Terminal and run:

    sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/MyVolume

  • Type your password, press Y, and wait 15–20 minutes. Once you have the Install macOS High Sierra

    • Apple still hosts the installer package on its servers, but it’s hidden.
