M-Audio (now inMusic) has officially discontinued the Axiom Pro line. No new drivers will be released. Don’t buy one for a recent Mac expecting full functionality.

Before diving into the driver hunt, it is vital to understand what makes the Axiom Pro 49 unique. Unlike basic MIDI controllers, the Axiom Pro features HyperControl. This two-way communication protocol allows the keyboard to "talk back" to your DAW. When you select a track in Logic Pro, the faders on the Axiom Pro automatically map to that track. When you tweak a software synth, the LCD screen on the keyboard updates to show the parameter name.
