A common confusion: "Should I install .NET 8 instead?"
The Golden Rule: They are side-by-side compatible. You can (and should) have both installed. Removing .NET Framework 4.8 will break old software. Do not replace it with .NET 8; install .NET 8 alongside it. net framework 4.8 windows 10 64 bit
