Nightmaretaker Walkthrough Repack -

This area is exclusive to the repack version. It’s entirely optional but contains the best ending.


The Nightmare Taker (Repack) is a psychological horror indie game where you play as Lucian, a dream-diver who extracts nightmares from comatose patients. The repack version includes restored cut content, alternate endings, and a more aggressive AI for the Nightmare Taker entity.

Genre: First-person psychological horror / puzzle-stealth
Est. Playtime: 3–5 hours (Repack adds ~1 hour of content)
Key Mechanic: “Nightmare Extraction” – you must solve dream-logic puzzles while avoiding the Taker, a shadowy entity that warps the environment.

A purple bar fills when you kill enemies. At 100% Malice, a “Fallen Hunter” (player-like NPC with overpowered skills) spawns.

Secret boss – The Devil’s Advocate:
To fight this hidden encounter, in the repack, go to the main menu and input: Up, Down, Left, Right, R1, L1, Square, Triangle (controller) or U, D, L, R, E, Q, F, R (keyboard). You’ll hear a chime. Load your cleared save, and the boss door appears in the Prologue cell.
