The Nokia RM-1035’s reliance on MTK architecture makes proper 64-bit USB driver installation critical for GSM servicing. While forums like GSM-Forum are valuable for locating rare drivers, technicians must exercise caution with unsigned binaries and adhere to the step-by-step process outlined above. Following these best practices ensures stable communication between SP Flash Tool and the device in preloader mode.
| Issue | Solution | |-------|----------| | Driver installs but phone not detected | Use different USB port (USB 2.0 preferred) | | Error: “Driver not intended for this platform” | You have 32-bit driver. Get 64-bit version. | | COM port disappears after 1 second | Normal for PreLoader driver – it’s a boot driver. | | SP Flash Tool stuck at 0% | Reinstall driver in test mode + reboot both PC & phone |
