Berlatar belakang tahun 1980-an di Korea Selatan, film ini mengisahkan tentang:

Sang-ho (Ryu Soo-young): Seorang aktivis mahasiswa yang melarikan diri dari kejaran otoritas dan bersembunyi di lantai dua sebuah rumah tua di desa terpencil.

Hee-ran (Kim Ji-hyun): Istri dari seorang pria kasar bernama Tae-yeol (Choi Cheol-ho).
