Sometimes, a QFIL flash restores the OS but leaves IMEI = 0 or Network Unknown. This happens because the NVRAM (persist partition) wasn’t included in public firmwares (security reasons).

This guide assumes your phone is fully bricked (Hard Brick) or you have deliberately entered EDL Mode. You need QPST (Qualcomm Product Support Tools) version 2

  • On PC, open Device Manager → verify device appears as “QHSUSB_BULK” or “Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008”.
  • Launch QFIL (Start → QPST → QFIL).
  • In QFIL:
  • Click “Download” to begin flashing. Do NOT disconnect during the process.
  • Wait until QFIL shows success (green message). The phone should reboot—first boot may take several minutes.

  • You need a rawprogram0.xml and patch0.xml based firmware package – often called "QFIL firmware" or "factory firmware".
