Press the [Unit] button to cycle through:

| Display shows Err 2 | Signal too weak | Stabilize device, measure from tripod or solid surface |
| Tape won't retract | Dirt or twist in blade | Gently pull out fully, wipe clean, guide back in |
| Display faint | Low battery | Charge using USB-C |
| Wrong units | Unit mode changed | Press UNIT until correct format appears |
