  • Download the patch ZIP (named PoP_ForgottenSands_patch_v1.0.zip).
  • Extract into the game folder; overwrite when prompted.
  • Run "apply_patch.bat" as Administrator once — this registers system shims and sets compatibility flags.
  • Optional: open settings.ini and set:
  • Launch the game. If using controller, run the included "controller_fix.exe" first to update XInput handling.
