Standard RapidLeech would fail if a 10GB file dropped connection at 90%. The MTN Special introduces chunked downloading. The original RL team is gone. However, the "MTN Special Better" fork is actively maintained by a small collective on Discord and GitLab. As of late 2025, updates are still being pushed to handle the recent API changes from Rapidgator and Keep2Share.

The "Better" team is currently working on a Docker containerization of rev43, which would solve nearly every dependency problem. Until then, the direct PHP install remains the most powerful, stripped-down file transfer tool available.
