Rkdevtool: No Devices Found
Sometimes the device isn’t dead — it’s just in a crashed state with USB disconnected internally. A full power cycle (battery disconnect if possible) plus 30-second discharge can resurrect detection.
If you’ve used Zadig (for libusb) or ADB drivers, they can hijack the Rockchip device.
Fix:
RKDevTool only detects the device when it’s in MaskROM or Loader mode — not normal boot.
How to enter correctly:
You can also use the “Advanced” tab → “Enter MaskROM” if the device is already detected elsewhere.
👉 If the screen stays black and your computer makes a USB-connected sound, you’re likely in the right mode.
Before clicking random buttons, you need to understand what “No Devices Found” actually means.
RKDevTool communicates with your Rockchip device via a specific protocol called Loader Mode or Mask ROM Mode. Unlike a standard USB drive, your device does not automatically enter this mode when plugged in. Using the wrong version of RKDevTool for your specific chip is a common trap.

If you use RKDevTool v2.4 on an RK3588, it will NEVER see the device.
Also, try Rockchip Factory Tool. It is less "pretty" but establishes connections that RKDevTool fails to.
When you plug in a bricked device, it tries to power up. This can cause a voltage sag that resets the USB controller.
