Do not use random .exe files. You are looking for a SaveGame.sav file.

If you’ve lost your progress due to a Windows reinstall, or you just want to unlock Infinite Rocket Launcher, All Shop Items, and Nightmare/Inferno modes without grinding, this guide is for you.
⚠️ Warning: This will overwrite your current manual saves. Back up your .../Documents/RE3R/ folder first if you want to keep your original progress.
I tested this on an SSD with 16GB RAM and a GTX 1660 Super. The repack ran flawlessly. No stuttering, no missing textures, and the save system worked perfectly. Because the game is heavily scripted, it is very easy to pick up and play in short bursts, making it perfect for those who want a quick gaming fix without a 100-hour commitment.
This is where Repacks differ from the Steam version. Steam uses Cloud saves; Repacks use emulator saves.
Do NOT look in Documents/RE3R/ – that folder is usually empty for Repacks.
Instead, look here depending on your Repack type:
| Repack Group | Save File Path (Copy & paste into Explorer) |
| :--- | :--- |
| FitGirl / DODI | %PUBLIC%\Documents\Steam\CODEX\952060\remote |
| ElAmigos | %AppData%\Goldberg SteamEmu Saves\952060\remote |
| Xatab / Chovka | %SystemDrive%\Users\Public\Documents\OnlineFix\952060\Saves |
Pro Tip: Press Windows Key + R, type shell:public, then navigate into Documents\Steam\CODEX\952060\remote.
You followed all steps. The game still won’t load the new save. Try this checklist:
Ultimate reset:
%SystemDrive%\Users\Public\Documents\Steam\CODEX\952060\remote\
Note: 952060 is RE3 Remake’s Steam App ID.
Look for saves labeled for RE3 Remake (Codex/Empress). Avoid saves for the “non-remake” original RE3.
