Install — Tally 72 Google Drive

Google Drive is not real-time database locking. To avoid data corruption:

Cause: Google Drive constantly scanning large Tally data files (over 500 MB).
Solution:

For standard small company data (up to 10,000 vouchers), you won’t notice a difference. For large manufacturing units with 100,000+ vouchers, use a local SSD. tally 72 google drive install

Cause: Two users edited the same voucher simultaneously, and Google Drive created a “conflicted copy.”
Solution:

This is where the magic happens. With Google Drive, two accountants can open the same Tally company file (sequentially or in educational mode). For true multi-user, one user must have a Tally Multi-User License. Google Drive is not real-time database locking

Do not drag the Tally program folder into Google Drive. You cannot run an installed program from the cloud. Instead, you move the Data folder only.

If you downloaded a .zip or .rar file, your computer sees it as a locked box. You cannot install it while it's locked. The catch

The catch? Getting it onto a modern laptop without a CD drive.
