A landmark achievement of the TNPDS portal is its full integration with the Annavitran platform (MoCA’s central hub). A beneficiary from Tamil Nadu visiting Maharashtra, or vice versa, can authenticate via Aadhaar and biometrics at an e-POS device and receive their subsidized rice. The portal allows "inter-state migrants" to specifically lock their card to the state they are currently residing in, ensuring no double-dipping while guaranteeing coverage.
