Xbox 360 Dlc Archive Part 3 -
Welcome to Part 3 of the Xbox 360 DLC Archive. While Parts 1 and 2 focused on the heavy hitters—your Call of Dutys, Halos, and Gears of War map packs—this entry in the archive is dedicated to the unsung heroes of the digital marketplace.
The Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) and the Xbox 360 Games on Demand library were home to some of the most creative and experimental titles of the seventh console generation. As the digital storefronts age and licenses expire, vast swathes of this history are disappearing. This archive aims to preserve the "Middle Child" era of digital gaming: the expansions that turned great games into legends, and the DLC for cult classics that is now impossible to find officially. Part 3 is unique because it isn't just about the DLC files; it's about the save files that require them. For example, the Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss DLC. The DLC itself is easy to backup. However, the save files that have the "Chester's Set" and the "Abyss Greatsword" at +15 are rare. Part 3 of the archive includes a subdirectory of "Endgame Saves" that unlock DLC areas post-shutdown.
