Because Xpadder emulates a mouse, you must optimize MW3’s settings for analog-style play:

If you are mapping manually, open Xpadder, click the “New” button, and assign the following keys. This layout mimics the console version of MW3 as closely as possible.
Issue: “My controller does nothing in-game.”
Solution: SKIDROW blocks background inputs sometimes. Run Xpadder and the game in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode (right-click properties → Compatibility). | Controller Action | Xpadder Key Assignment |
Issue: “Aiming is too jerky / spinning wildly.”
Solution: Your right stick sensitivity in Xpadder is too high. Reduce Xpadder’s mouse sensitivity to 35. Also, set in-game “Mouse Look Sensitivity” to 4.0.
Issue: “The profile works in the menu but not in combat.”
Solution: This is a SKIDROW focus bug. Click the game window once with your real mouse, then unplug and replug the controller. Xpadder will re-inject the signals. If you are mapping manually, open Xpadder, click
Issue: “Multiplayer LAN (via TeknoMW3) ignores my controller.”
Solution: The TeknoMW3 client (often bundled with SKIDROW) has anti-cheat that blocks Xpadder. Use the standalone SKIDROW iw5mp.exe without TeknoMW3 for private lobbies.
