Zebex Z6170 Driver 20

Cause: You are trying to install a 32-bit driver on 64-bit Windows, or vice versa. Version 2.0 was released before strict driver signing. Fix: Reboot Windows into Disable Driver Signature Enforcement mode.

For most modern operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11, and most Linux distributions), the Zebex Z-6170 is Plug-and-Play. Zebex Z6170 Driver 20

Cause: You are plugging the scanner into different USB ports. Windows creates a new COM instance per port. Fix: Always use the same physical USB port. Alternatively, in Device Manager, right-click the Zebex COM port > Properties > Port Settings > Advanced > select a static COM number (e.g., COM5). Cause: You are trying to install a 32-bit
