  • Disable conflicting antivirus real‑time scanning (temporarily)

  • Run Windows Update – ensure all critical updates are installed. curl -O https://downloads

  • Create a dedicated service account (for enterprise deployments)

    • Fix: Exclude the entire ASM 7.0 folder in your antivirus. For Windows Defender, add exclusion via: Settings → Privacy & Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Exclusions → Add folder. ANU_ScriptManager_7

    ASM 7.0 works best with the desktop version of Shattered Pixel Dungeon (the .jar file, not the Steam or Epic Games Store version unless you use the wrapper).
